F.U.E technique

We can define F.U.E. technique as the hair transplant technique for a systematic redistribution of hair follicles that consists of the insertion of small scalp grafts with the so-called “follicular units” (groups of 1, 2, 3 or 4 hair follicles as they are determined naturally). We can summarize it in follicle by follicle. 

These grafts are obtained under local anesthesia from the back and/or side of the scalp (what we call donor areas) and, after preparing them thoroughly under the microscope, are inserted carefully through microincisions in the bald areas or alopecic, little hair, that would evolve toward baldness.

When the grafts are obtained from the posterior and lateral areas of the head, genetically programmed to grow all life by possessing hormone receptors that are not affected by enzymatic hyperactivity, it is achieved that once transplanted on other areas they do not fall and continue to grow normally. 

The F.U.E. Technique (Follicular Unit Extraction or “individual follicle Extraction”) is considered to be the most advanced hair transplant technique that exists.
